UN must persuade governments to adopt crew change protocols or risk ‘humanitarian disaster’

The Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation announced the adoption of a decision on additional measures to support sea and river cruise companies. This information is published on the website of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, from which it follows that the state will allocate 4.7 billion rubles from the state budget for the maritime transport complex against the backdrop of the fight against coronavirus pandemic.

“Payments provided by the state from the budget will be used to cover the costs of cruise river and sea companies in the amount of 4.7 billion rubles in order to preserve the main activities of these organizations and the number of their employees in the context of restrictions related to the prevention of the spread of COVID-19 in the Russian Federation” – said in a statement by the Ministry.
